Juan Mata -- Where will he fit in Di Matteo's formation?

Here’s a question for you:

Where will Juan Mata fit into Roberto Di Matteo’s Chelsea puzzle this season?

The reason I ask is due to the problem we face at the left side of our formation. I posted the other day after the Brighton performance, that we needed someone to get out there and do a job as it was obvious to me that Eden Hazard prefers not to play there.

Do you think that RDM will move him out wide to accommodate Oscar and Hazard?

On his return to training yesterday, Mata said:

“I feel really good and confident for the new season,Myself and Oriol have been looking forward to coming back and I’m happy to be here.

I think it will be a good season for us. Personally, I will try to play more games than last season. For sure, our desire is to win another trophy, either the Premier League or Champions League. These competitions are very important for us and we will try to do our best.

We have Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Oscar and Kevin De Bruyne, we’ve bought some quality players which is good for the team.”

I really hope that we can come up with some real attacking flair this season with the three playing in behind the striker, interchanging positions and causing teams problems. The only problem will be when we are without the ball and where we will have to make sure that we have players to track back and cover each side of the pitch.

So what do you think RDM will do with Juan Mata? I hope he plays through the middle!
