Two teams from the so called 'Big 6' went head to head at the Wembley stadium on 15 September 2018, when Tottenham Hotspurs hosted Liverpool in their Premier League fixture.

One interesting stat that most of the people overlooked was that, prior to their weekend clash, Liverpool vs. Tottenham was the second-highest scoring fixture in Premier League history, with 149 goals.

To beat the then record-holders, Arsenal vs Everton (151 goals), 3 goals needed to be scored in the game.

And as fate would have it, exactly 3 goals were scored in the fixture that ended in a 2-1 Reds victory .

This is one of those records that might change hands quite frequently, with three fixtures, Arsenal vs Everton, Arsenal vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Tottenham in hot pursuit with 151, 147 and 146 goals being scored in them respectively.
