Fans on social media have reacted to Manchester United's 2-1 comeback win against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday, December 15. The Red Devils snatched all three points from City with two late goals at the Etihad Stadium.

Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for City in the 36th minute, getting on the end of a deflected cross from Kevin De Bruyne.

In the 86th minute, Amad Diallo was fouled in the box and United were awarded a penalty. Bruno Fernandez converted the spot-kick in the 88th minute, leveling the scores. Two minutes later (90’), Amad gave Manchester United the lead after being played in behind by Lisandro Martinez.

During his stay on the pitch, Amad had a passing accuracy of 94% (32/34). He registered two shots on target and won seven out of 10 ground duels contested.

The Red Devils are monitoring Dusan Vlahovic as a potential alternative to their preferred transfer target Viktor Gyokeres. This is according to a report by Football Insider (via TEAMtalk).

The Red Devils have been monitoring several strikers as they look to enhance their attack. While head coach Ruben Amorim reportedly prefers Gyokeres, United view Vlahovic as a market-friendly alternative. In 19 appearances for Juventus this season, Vlahovic has scored 11 goals and provided two assists.

The 24-year-old's contract with Juventus is valid until June 2026 and the Serie A giants could be willing to negotiate next summer to avoid losing him as a free agent.

Amorim has previously worked with Gyokeres at his previous club Sporting CP. In 24 appearances across competitions this season, the Swede has scored 26 goals and provided four assists.
