Their 2-2 draw against the Gunners in the first leg at the Emirates last week (April 9) put the tie on a knife's edge, given the quality of the English side.
Mikel Arteta's side realized that the same pedigree that helped Bayern Munich knock them out in 2017 remains with the club after seven years. A 1-0 scoreline was enough to send the injury-hit German giants into the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
