"He’s having an outstanding season" - Bayern Munich star Harry Kane praises Real Madrid superstar ahead of UCL clash

Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has admired the kind of season his compatriot Jude Bellingham is having at Real Madrid in his debut campaign. This comes ahead of the two sides' meeting in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.

Kane, who captains Bellingham in the England setup, has showered praise on the 20-year-old's impact at Real Madrid this season. The 30-year-old forward, however, would prefer if he stays quiet in the two legs against Bayern Munich.

Speaking to Kerry Hau (via Madrid Xtra), Harry Kane was quoted as saying the following:

“Jude Bellingham? He’s having an outstanding season. But he can hold back in the two games against us.”

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are set for a mouth-watering semifinal clash in the Champions League. The first leg of the tie will be played at the Allianz Arena on April 30 before contesting the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on May 8.

The winner of this tie will face either Borussia Dortmund or Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the final at Wembley Stadium on June 1.

Jude Bellingham deserves all the praise he has been receiving from the footballing fraternity this season. The England international signed for Real Madrid from Dortmund earlier this season for a fee of around €103 million and has had a stellar campaign.

As things stand, Bellingham has contributed 21 goals and 10 assists from 36 matches across all competitions this season. This includes a tally of four goals and four assists from eight appearances in the Champions League. He is one of the most important players in Carlo Ancelotti's setup.

Harry Kane is himself having an excellent debut season with Bayern Munich. This incredible season continued as he netted a brace against Eintracht Frankfurt in a 2-1 win for the Bavarian giants on Saturday, April 27.

Kane opened the scoring for Bayern after just nine minutes after he tapped home following an incredible run and pass from Konrad Laimer. Frankfurt equalized after 23 minutes through Hugo Ekitike. Harry Kane, however, kept his composure from the penalty spot at the hour mark to give Thomas Tuchel's side all three points in the Bundesliga.

The Englishman's form would be a massive boost for Bayern Munich ahead of their tie against Real Madrid. He has been amongst the goals all throughout this season, including in the Champions League.

Kane has netted 42 goals and provided 13 assists from 42 appearances across all competitions. This includes seven goals and three assists from 10 games in Europe's premier club competition.
