Tyrell Malacia sustained a knee injury and had to undergo surgeries, which led him to be sidelined for about 18 months, missing 70 games for Manchester United. The Dutch left-back played 45 minutes for the under-21s in an EFL Trophy match against Huddersfield Town on November 12. He was on the bench for the Red Devils' first team in Ruben Amorim’s first match in charge against Ipswich Town on November 24.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool transfer target Milos Kerkez, according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg. The 21-year-old left-back is currently playing for Premier League club AFC Bournemouth and his contract there is valid until the summer of 2028.
As per reports, United are keen on acquiring Kerkez's signature as their newly appointed head coach Ruben Amorim is looking to strengthen his squad. Liverpool, on the other hand, reportedly view the former AC Milan player as a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
Milos Kerkez, who signed for Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, has made 45 appearances for the club so far while providing three assists.
