According to a report by Give Me Sport, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are looking to sign 19-year-old Swedish wunderkind Roony Bardghji. The FC Copenhagen winger is among the world's most highly rated young players. He has represented his nation at the U17 and U21 levels.

Bardghji would be signed to provide competition in the team's wide areas. With the reigning English champions looking to reduce the age of their wide players, he would fit in with the strategy that has seen young stars with a high ceiling, like Jeremy Doku and Savinho, get into the team.

The young winger will be hard-pressed to turn down a chance to play under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest managers in the sport's history at Manchester City. He has made 78 appearances for FC Copenhagen, contributing 15 goals and one assist to help the team win two league titles and one cup. His contract with the Danish club expires in the winter of 2025.

"It hasn't been good enough, losing four games now, but let's try to win the next" - Manchester City star has faith in Pep Guardiola despite poor run of form

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland recently said he has faith in Pep Guardiola despite the team's recent poor run of form. The English champions have lost four consecutive games for the first time under the Catala tactician's reign.

Despite their poor run, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has the faith of his star striker. Speaking in a recent interview with Sky Sports, Haaland maintained his belief in the manager, saying:

"When you look at what he's been doing for the club, he's not bad, is he? So he's got my full trust. And if he tells me something, I'd better do it because he knows the best in the end. Everyone knows that. So I'm sure he will find solutions now as well."

"I'm sure of that. [Guardiola] demands us to be at our best in every training session, in every game. And that's what we need to do. It hasn't been good enough, losing four games now, but let's try to win the next," he added.

Haaland has been phenomenal since Pep Guardiola signed him for Manchester City from Borrusia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 for a reported €60 million fee. In 114 games, he has scored 105 goals and provided 14 assists, helping the side to a European treble and consecutive league titles.
