EPL giants Arsenal made a splash on deadline day when they managed to complete the signing of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey for €50 million.

However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's project has just begun, and more players have been targeted by the club, according to football.london.

Arsenal interested in Red Bull Salzburg attackers

Arsenal are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg's Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai and Zambian striker Patson Daka. Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is another target for the Gunners.

Interest in Szoboszlai is not new; Arsenal have been tracking the 19-year old midfielder for some time now. They were linked with a move a few months ago, but it failed to materialise. Serie A clubs AC Milan and Napoli are also keeping an eye on the talented youngster.

Patson Daka too, remains a target for top clubs. The 21-year old has enjoyed a stellar spell in Austria, with Arsenal and fellow EPL giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur being suggested as possible destinations for the striker.

With Alexandre Lacazette not consistent and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his 30s, Arsenal are in the market for attacking reinforcements. Apart from Daka, Celtic's Odsonne Edouard remains another target in the striker position for the club.

Arsenal were busy in the summer transfer window, bringing in centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes and winger Willian apart from Partey. The Gunners were extremely interested in Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Houssem Aouar but failed to agree terms with the French club for the player.

A move for Daka or Edouard would indicate that Lacazette is on his way out of the club. The France international joined Arsenal from Olympique Lyonnais in 2017 for €53 million and has made 131 appearances in all competitions for the club since then, scoring 51 goals.

However, the 29-year old's inconsistency has often been criticised, with his presence often meaning that Arsenal talisman and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has to play out wide instead of his usual no.9 position.

While a move for Edouard would be hard to conduct in the winter transfer window, Red Bull Salzburg might be more amenable to discussing terms. They have already sold star forwards Erling Haaland and Takumi Minamino in January this year.
