According to multiple reports in the English media, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is intent on securing a move to Premier League giants Manchester United in the January transfer window. Sancho is one of the most sought-after prospects in world football at the moment and is likely to cost a fortune.

Manchester United failed to secure the forward's signing in the summer and are sure to renew their efforts in the coming months. The Red Devils are looking a revamp their squad under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and will have to dig deep into their treasury to fund this particular transfer.

Jadon Sancho is one of Borussia Dortmund's most important players at the moment and has been at the forefront of a youth revolution at the German club. Manchester United will find it considerably difficult to pry the English prodigy away from Borussia Dortmund in January.

Manchester United's squad has come under heavy scrutiny this season after a series of lacklustre performances saw the Red Devils suffer two defeats in their first three games of the Premier League campaign. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to get the best out of his charges in the coming weeks to achieve the targets of the club this season.

Jadon Sancho has made waves in German football with his performances over the past two years. The English winger has exceptional dribbling skills and his style of play is likely to suit the Premier League. Manchester United are currently the frontrunners to secure Sancho's signature but might face stiff competition from arch-rivals Liverpool in the January transfer window.

According to the report, Jadon Sancho has informed his friends of his intentions to join Manchester United this season. The English winger nearly completed the move to Old Trafford but negotiations broke down after Manchester United failed to meet Borussia Dortmund's asking price.

Manchester United did make a few interesting signings in the transfer market with Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles joining the club in the final week of the transfer window. The Red Devils will need reinforcements in January, however, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempting to navigate a hectic schedule as Manchester United compete on multiple fronts this season.

Borussia Dortmund have demanded a hefty price from Jadon Sancho and refused to part with the winger for a fee less than €100 million. Manchester United offered in excess of €80 million towards the end of the transfer window but saw their bid rejected by the German club.

With Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool reinforcing their squads in the summer, Manchester United have plenty of work to do in the Premier League. The Red Devils slumped to a horrific 6-1 defeat against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur last week and find themselves at a low point at the moment.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to prove his mettle in the Premier League this season and take Manchester United to a respectable position in the table. The Red Devils also have to contend with a tricky Champions League group and will need to be at their best this year.
