Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on signing Barcelona stars Frenkie de Jong and Raphinha in 2025, as per latest reports. The Spanish giants would want to relinquish some players in the upcoming transfer windows to maintain their financial balance.

Frenkie de Jong arrived in Barcelona in 2019 from Ajax for an €86 million fee. Despite having an impressive start to life in Spain, the Dutch midfielder's time has been riddled with injuries. At present, he is mostly a benchwarmer at La Blaugrana whose €484,615-a-week contract is scheduled to expire in 2026.

Under Hansi Flick, he has made just three starts in 15 games this season, scoring a goal and an assist each. Overall, he has played 228 games for the club, racking up 18 goals, 22 assists, and winning the LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de Espana.

As per a report by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are willing to entertain transfer talks for Frenkie de Jong, with a settlement for the Dutch midfielder a key target in the coming summer. The report also talks about Saudi clubs attempting to sign Raphinha again after he rejected a multi-million dollar move to the Middle East in 2024.

Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds in the summer of 2022 for a reported €58 million fee. Despite a slow start, the Brazilian attacker has found his mojo under Hansi Flick this season. In 26 games so far, he has racked up 17 goals and created 10 more across competitions. These include a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League and goals against the likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Villarreal.

Raphinha's contract with the Catalan giants expires in 2027. It remains to be seen how the transfer saga between Barcelona, the two stars, and the Saudi giants pan out.
