What's the story?

PSG talisman Neymar, who was in Barcelona this week as part of the ongoing assessment on the injury picked up in a cup match against Strasbourg last week, reacted angrily to the journalists asking him about his potential return to the Camp Nou in the future.

The Brazilian has been ruled out of action for almost 10 weeks, but luckily the doctors have informed him that he won't be undergoing a surgical procedure for the same.

In case you didn't know...

Neymar faces a long spell on the sidelines and is going to miss both the legs of crucial UEFA Champions League Round of 16 fixture against a resurgent Manchester United.

The world's most expensive signing has been linked with a return to Spain this season and speculations about his potential reunion with Messi and Co. have refused to die down.

The heart of the matter

The 26-year-old had flown to the Spanish capital to meet up with a team of highly qualified experts, who further assessed his metatarsal injury and initiated the recovery process.

After his assessment, the winger was headed back to Paris and as soon as he reached the El Prat Airport, journalists started hounding him with questions regarding him rejoining the Catalan giants, who had sold him for a world-record €222 million in 2017 to cash-rich PSG.

To this he got angry and told the journalists to not p*** him off, clearly indicating his averseness to the question, which has been on everyone's mind for a long time.[H/T Mirror]

Neymar was asked:

"Is it true that you're calling Barcelona to go back there?"

And he replied:

"Don't p*** me off!"

Well, one thing's for sure for the next 10 weeks PSG are going to miss their superstar.

What's next?

PSG, who have been dominant in their domestic leagues and cups, have never made a big impact on the European stage. It remains to be seen how they fare against Manchester United two weeks from now, in absence of their superstar player.
