Welcome to Sportskeeda's Daily Transfer Roundup for 6 August 2019. We are officially in the business end of the Premier League transfer window and there's no predicting what's going to unfold in the next 48 hours.

Without further ado, let's take a look at the top transfer scoops of the day.

Paris Saint-Germain offer Neymar to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus

Barcelona are going to have to get serious about the Neymar pursuit real soon. Paris Saint-Germain are now open to selling the disgruntled Brazilian and have offered him to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.

PSG want to send Neymar out on loan for the current season as they are aware that none of the clubs that can afford to buy Neymar, in the long run, are in a state, financially, to be pulling it off. The tension between the club and the player is still on the rise and as such, PSG have resolved to send him away.

Manchester United were offered the chance to sign Neymar for a loan fee of €20 million. In addition to that, the Red Devils will also have to pay the Brazilian's mammoth wages. Being already heavily staffed on the left-wing and seeing as how the move would be a departure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's vision for the club, Manchester United did not think twice before rejecting the proposal.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane wants Florentino Perez to put all his efforts into signing Paul Pogba before the season begins. Perez though is more keen on signing another marquee player and wants to rope in Neymar instead of Pogba. However, Neymar is not reportedly keen on moving to Real Madrid.

Juventus are looking for a player in the mould of Neymar and hence Paris Saint-Germain have offered the player to the Old Lady as well. Neymar, however, is not keen on a move to Turin either.

His camp is happy now that PSG are open to selling him. The Ligue 1 champions want Barcelona to make their intentions clear and public if they're to even stand a chance of signing him this summer.

Wayne Rooney set to join Derby County as a player-coach

Sky Sports' reliable Rob Dorsett has confirmed that Wayne Rooney is all set to join Derby County as a player-coach in January. Rooney reportedly arrived at Derby County's training ground today and Dorsett was there to report.

"He came in through a back entrance that's rarely used but my sources are telling me he is here with his representatives to try and thrash out a deal. He flew in from Washington overnight and it's clear to me that Derby are confident they've got their man.
"I'm being told the deal will see Wayne Rooney start as player-coach in January. He wants to go and finish the season with DC United. So while it's moving quickly, this move will happen in January."

Earlier, Derby County owner Mel Morris had confirmed that the club was trying to rope in Rooney. He said,

"It's literally only been a couple of days in the offing."
"The starting point was that we understood he was keen to return to the UK and we decided to see if we could do something off the back of that.
"It's never done until it's done and obviously we are very focused and keen to get this over the line."

Former Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has put pen to paper on a 2-year deal which will see him join Crystal Palace. Palace completed the signing today, and on signing for the Eagles, Cahill said:

"I’m glad to be here, I think it’s a good opportunity for me to continue my career in the Premier League, and to play in a good, exciting team. There are some very exciting, talented players here. I’m looking forward to the challenge.
“I’m hungry to prolong my career as long as I possibly can – I feel like I’m in great shape and whoever I play for, I’d like to think that I give it 110% and leave everything out there - so hopefully that will be good enough for the manager, my team-mates and also the fans.”

Arsenal agree deal to sell Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny's situation has been under the scanner ever since he refused to join the club on their pre-season tour. Arsenal's former captain wanted to return to his home country. However, the Gunners were not keen on letting him go.

Now they've changed their mind and have agreed a £4.6 million deal with Ligue 1 club Bordeaux. Unai Emery was reportedly very keen to keep Koscielny at Arsenal. However, the player remained insistent on a return home.

The report claims that Koscielny has reached Bordeaux's training ground to undergo his medical. The Frenchman, who was at Arsenal for 9 years, initially believed that the club would let him leave on a free transfer. Arsenal were against the idea and the two clubs couldn't agree to a fee.

But now with Koscielny's intentions known, Arsenal have decided to part with him. The report goes on to claim that Arsenal are looking to make one final swoop for a replacement for Koscielny before the transfer window shuts. They're looking at RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano and Juve's Daniele Rugani.

Manchester United to ramp up efforts to sign Christian Eriksen as Bruno Fernandes nears Spurs move

Expectation subversion. That's the stuff this transfer window has stood out for. Just when you thought that Paulo Dybala was close to joining Manchester United, the latter pulled the plug on the deal. All eyes then turned to Bruno Fernandes. Now it turns out, Manchester United are actually looking to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window shuts.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have entered talks to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon. Manchester United are hoping that Spurs will compromise on the Dane's price tag as he only has a year remaining on his contract. Giovani Lo Celso is still a priority for Spurs but in case they fail to sign him, they are trying to keep a back-up ready in Fernandes.

Manchester United might sell Paul Pogba if someone meets the Frenchman's valuation of £160 million. However, Ole would love to have both Pogba and Eriksen on his team.
