In Dortmund there are still fans, who are angry and annoyed with former crowd favourite Mario Götze for leaving Borussia Dortmund to join rivals FC Bayern Munich in the summer and a planned BVB farewell for Götze ahead of the German Super Cup on Saturday has been cancelled by the club due to fear of trouble.
Mario Götze is still recovering from a muscular injury suffered against Real Madrid in the second-leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal late last season and has not played a single minute for FC Bayern, though he has started his rehabilitation.
