Willy Caballero - 6/10

The Chelsea shot-stopper was not at his best and his decision making was questionable at a few instances on the night. However, Caballero managed to keep a clean-sheet and never looked like being under pressure despite Norwich's brilliant start.

Antonio Rudiger - 5/10

An off-day for the German who looked like a shadow of himself on the pitch. Rudiger was kept on his toes by Murphy and he struggled to keep up with the youngster who ran riot in the first half.

David Luiz - 5/10

The Brazilian looked rusty on the night and it is understandable considering the fact that he is returning from an injury. Luiz picked up a silly booking and it almost feels like his place in the starting line-up is all but assured.

Gary Cahill - 5/10

Cahill was spot on with his positioning but his lack of pace forced Norwich to try and exploit him on a few instances. The Englishman also looked a little too cautious after picking up the booking and struggled to play out from the back.

Davide Zappacosta - 6/10

The Italian tried to bomb forward and perhaps left Rudiger exposed on a few instances. Zappacosta managed to make a few inroads into the Norwich defence but failed to muster any significant end product for the visitors.

Daniel Drinkwater - 5/10

Drinkwater struggled without Kante by his side and was completely outdone in midfield in the first half. The midfielder was constantly taking too long to move the ball and failed to seize control of the match.

Tiemoue Bakayoko - 6/10

The Frenchman was the subject of a game of two halves really and continues to show traces of inconsistency. Bakayoko was outfought in the first half but looked more like the powerful presence we expect him to be after the interval.

Kenedy - 5/10

Kenedy did not enjoy a lot of involvement in the first half due to his lacklustre passing and several of his tricks failed to come off. The Brazilian did very little to prove that he deserves regular playing time with the first team.

Willian - 7/10

Chelsea's most notable contributions in attack came with the help of Willian and he was the only one who got going for the visitors in the first half. Willian came into his own in the second half and almost gave Chelsea the lead after a driving run with the ball.

Pedro - 5/10

Pedro was largely ineffective throughout the game, looking flat and disinterested at times in the first half. The Spaniard looks like a shadow of his former self and struggled to make any significant impact.

Michy Batshuayi - 4/10

Batshuayi failed to make use of the rare opportunity
Batshuayi failed to make use of the rare opportunity

The Belgian disappointed on the night and failed to leave a mark on the game. Despite not getting a lot of service from midfield, Batshuayi's link-up play was poor and he doesn't seem to have the work rate that can get his side through on occasions like these.

Substitutes:

Alvaro Morata - 5/10

The Spaniard came on in the 74th minute and was provided with too little time and service to try and make an impact.

Charly Musonda - 5/10

Given Pedro's dismal performance, Antonio Conte should have given Musonda a chance very early on. The Belgian was introduced with just about 20 minutes of play left and he could not make any difference.

Dujon Sterling - N/A

Came on in the 89th minute for Pedro and couldn't affect much.
