Now a McDonalds sandwich named after Pep Guardiola?

Pep Guardiola’s arrival at Bayern Munich this summer is turning out to be quite an event as McDonalds are ready with a special sandwich in Bavaria to honour him.

The ‘Hot Pep Guardinator’ comes with mixed blend of a chicken schnitzel (breaded fillet), a slice of cheese and basic salad in a brown bread roll, with jalapenos and hot mustard and salsa added in for that extra kick.

Bayern Munich, who are the current Bundesliga leaders with a 20-point margin over the second placed defending champions Borussia Dortmund, are not much in need of this hype or encouragement at the moment. It is an easy task ahead of the Bavarians, as they can pocket the title in their next match itself on March 30 with seven matches still remaining for them to play.

Pep just has to keep that good mood and momentum going in the Allianz Arena, especially citing Bayern’s good run in the DFB-Pokal (semi-finals) and Champions League (quarter-finals).

The Spaniard seems ready to have a snack on the ‘Hot Pep Guardinator’. If Gareth Southgate, Stuart Pearce and Chris Waddle can have a crack at the Pizza Hut, why not Pep?
