Osijek welcome Levadia to Opus Arena for the first leg of their UEFA Conference League second round qualification tie on Thursday (July 25th). The hosts are coming into the game on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Dunajska Streda in a friendly last week.
Damir Redzic and Jan Bernat scored to put Streda ahead twice but Anton Matkovic and Petar Pusic equalized on each occasion. Ladislav Almasi scored the match-winner for the Slovaks in the 90th minute.
The White and blues will now turn their attention to the continental competition. They booked their spot at this stage of the Conference League qualifiers courtesy of their fourth-placed finish in the Croatian Football League last season.
Levadia, meanwhile, saw off Siauliai FA with a 2-0 aggregate victory in the first round of the qualifiers. A 2-0 first leg away victory and goalless draw at home got the job done.
