The Brazilian began this season very well with Liverpool, amidst submitting a transfer request to leave to the La Liga Champions Barcelona during summer. The 25-year-old has set up his teammates 6 times and bagged 7 goals for the red side of Merseyside.

The January transfer window saw the Spanish giants break their bank to bring in the former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Nou Camp for a fee of 142 million Euros. Coutinho has not been that much of a threat like he used to be after getting accustomed through the right wing under Valverde, but still, he has managed to score seven times and find his teammates on 5 different occasions. However, the former Inter Milan player will be much more effective when he cuts inside through the left wing.

At times, Leroy Sane has been absolutely devastating playing through the right wing for Manchester City. He has formed a formidable partnership with Raheem Sterling, Kun Aguero and Gabriel Jesus up front. He also links up very well with Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva who have been the creative fulcrum for Pep Guardiola's side.

Luis Alberto has somewhat emerged as one of the best players in Italy this season. The former Sevilla graduate is having a breakthrough season with 11 goals while setting up another 14 for his teammates.

In the 3-5-1-1 formation, Luis Alberto plays as a number 10 and is benefited by the three midfielders behind which enables him to enjoy the free role to feed the forwards. Under Simone Inzaghi, the Lazio forward is used as a playmaker and Ciro Immobile is benefited by the presence of the Spanish counterpart.

According to TalkSport, Luis Alberto has caught his former club FC Barcelona's eye with some of his stellar performances at Rome.
