Manchester United v Manchester City - Premier League
Marcus Rashford was picked up ahead of Romelu Lukaku once again by Solskjaer. Despite the Englishman’s recent poor performances, the Norwegian still harbored faith in his young forward. In truth, Rashford has the abilities to cause damage to any team in the world, but still lacks a bit of maturity in his gameplay. Solskjaer was hoping that against City, he will find his swagger again but that did not happen.

The Englishman started the game extremely well and was relentless in his pressing. His cross-field runs and speed caused City's defense a lot of problems. United looked threatening on the counter with Rashford running the lines, but the young striker never found the finish that this game needed.
Rashford could not carve out a clear cut chance and was once again guilty of being too selfish at times. His passing was also poor on a few occasions and he does not look like a finished product as of yet. The youngster's inability to have an impact in the final third cost United the game.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
