Bravo was lucky that United could not capitalise on his mistakes. He passed the ball effectively on most occasions as Bravo is going to be ab effective player for City.

Bacary Sagna: 6.5/10

Sagna's display have shown that he will keep Zabaleta out of the side. He recovered the ball well and was also good in possession.

Nicolas Otamendi : 7.5/10

The Argentine kept Ibrahimovic quiet for the majority of the game and was the best defender on the pitch.

John Stones: 7/10

First important game of the season and Stones lived up to his expectations. He was unfazed by the occasion of a derby and played his part to perfection.

Aleksandr Kolarov: 6.5/10

Kolarov played his part well as his sharp deliveries was a constant threat for United.

Fernandinho: 8/10

One of the best players on the pitch, Fernandinho played one of his best games in a City shirt. He completely dominated the midfield as City won the midfield battle.

David Silva: 7/10

Silva was the captain on the night and he played an important role for Guardiola's side. Silva had never done so much defensive work until now, but under the new manager, he has improved defensively.

Kevin De Bruyne: 8.5/10

The Belgian was unlucky not to score a brace against the Red Devils. He ran United's defense ragged as he totally ran the show for Man City.

Nolito: 7/10

Nolito was decent for the visiting side as he stretched the defense on many occasions and provided many key passes.

Raheem Sterling: 6.5/10

The Englishman started the game brightly but faded as the game went on.

Kelechi Iheanacho: 7.5/10

The youngster became City's youngest ever scorer in the Derby. He scored one and assisted one as it became a memorable Derby for the 19-year-old.

Substitutes:

Fernando: 6.5/10

He was brought on to bring solidity late in the second half and he did just that in his cameo.

Leroy Sane: 7/10

The youngster made his debut in the Premier League and created two chances in his half-hour appearance. He looks yet another exciting talent in the league.

Pablo Zabaleta: N/A

The Argentine was brought on in the dying minutes of the game and did nothing worth mentioning.
