Willy Caballero - 4/10

The Argentine shot-stopper had a game to forget at Stamford Bridge as he struggled against the visitors for the majority of the 90. Caballero was also at fault for the goal as his error in judgment paved the way for Huddersfield's opener.

Cesar Azpilicueta - 7/10

Chelsea's skipper looked solid at the back for prolonged periods during the game but the Spaniard was unable to prevent the Blues from conceding and eventually dropping points in the process.

Andreas Christensen - 7/10

Christensen almost pulled Chelsea ahead with a header towards the dying minutes of the game but the defender was denied by Lossl. Christensen looked comfortable on the ball and was good in the air for most of the game.

Antonio Rudiger - 6/10

The German will be disappointed for squandering an opportunity in the early stages of the game, missing from close range after getting on the end of a flick from Azpilicueta following a corner.

Davide Zappacosta - 5/10

The Italian replaced Victor Moses in the starting line-up but he failed to deliver in the final third and struggled as the game progressed before being replaced in the 54th minute by Giroud.

N'Golo Kante - 8/10

Kante battled tirelessly in midfield for Chelsea

The Frenchman was undoubtedly Chelsea's best player on the night yet again as he dominated the middle of the park with his timely interceptions and well-timed tackles. Kante acted as the perfect link between defence and attack for the hosts on the night.

Cesc Fabregas - 6/10

The Spaniard was not at his influential best on the night and failed to deliver in a few instances when his team needed him the most. Fabregas looked a bit weary and failed to hit top gear.

Marcos Alonso - 6/10

Alonso was lucky enough to deflect a clearance into Huddersfield's net for the equalizer but he could not help Chelsea regain control of proceedings despite taking up advanced positions inside the opponent's half.

Willian - 6/10

The Brazilian made a few daring runs in the first half and looked threatening. However, Willian faded away as the game progressed and could not muster anything noteworthy for his side.

Alvaro Morata - 5/10

Morata was given an opportunity to make amends when he started ahead of Giroud but the Spaniard struggled and did not look very sharp, failing yet again to find the net.

Pedro - 5/10

Pedro also disappointed and failed to create any problems whatsoever for the visitors, who had him in check for the majority of the game before he was taken off in the 59th minute to cap off yet another poor display.

Substitutes

Olivier Giroud - 5/10

Giroud replaced Zappacosta in the 54th minute but failed to instigate any form of revival for the Blues.

Eden Hazard - 6/10

Chelsea's talisman was introduced in place of Pedro just around the hour mark and took on the task of pulling the strings from midfield. However, the Belgian could not secure all three points for Chelsea.
