Some late comebacks in the past month resulted in Manchester United's somewhat better run of form which included a victory against the mighty Juventus in their own den.

But in the last match, Manchester City truly showed what they are capable of and highlighted the flaws of Manchester United.

One of the flaws includes Jose Mourinho's defensive style which is anything but pragmatic. Without quality defenders, his defensive style is suicide and that has been the case throughout this season.

There was a lack of Plan B and we are witnessing the least dynamic Mourinho side in his whole career.

Last season, Mourinho complained about their rivals spending more money to buy quality players but United spent a fortune, too.

United's recent signings have caused more problems than they have solved. Mourinho has failed to find a way out despite the bad signs early in the season. The current run of United is a testament to the fact that his style is predictable.

Mourinho has often suffered terrible third seasons with his previous clubs. And this one with Manchester United seems no different till now.

Unless his tactics change according to the evolution of football, he could find himself out of a job.
