While the mangers battle it out to prove their tactical superiority, the battle for the top scorer in the league also expected to be a very close affair.

Last season, it was between Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane for the top two with Sergio Aguero missing a good part of the season through injury, yet scoring 21 goals from 25 games.

While Aguero and Kane have already established themselves as regular top scorers, it might just be the beginning of Salah, with the likes of Lukaku and Aubameyang equally capable of finishing at the top. Alvaro Morata might be just another candidate who can leave his last season's form aside and stand up to his expectations.

There will be no lack of creativity in the midfield with the signings of Jorginho, Jean Michael Seri, Jao Moutinho, Fred, Naby Keita and Fabinho in addition to the already established players like Eden Hazard, Christian Eriksen, Kevin De Bruyne, Mesut Ozil, David Silva, Riyad Mahrez and Paul Pogba to name a few.

While Eden Hazard can have his best season after his confidence-boosting and exceptional World Cup campaign, the likes of Wilfred Zaha, Richarlison, Leroy Sane and Marcus Rashford can have a breakthrough season.
