#3 Manchester United to leapfrog Arsenal into fifth place

Manchester United still have a chance to move up to fifth

Neither sides have been particularly impressive in the Premier League lately. And after a series of horrendous results - Arsenal and Manchester United have both won only once in the last five league games - both sides saw their Champions League push hit the buffers (although the Gunners can still secure a passage by piping Chelsea in the Europa League).

However, in the final standings, the Red Devils are likely to leapfrog their London rivals into fifth position. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will face his former side Cardiff City at the Old Trafford, who are already relegated. So theoretically, this should be a duck soup for the hosts and secure all three points.

Unai Emery’s first full season in the Premier League will culminate at Turf Moor where a gritty Burnley side await. The Clarets have proven to be a tough nut to crack on various occasions this season, pillaging points off Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, whilst also limiting Manchester City to a narrow 1-0 win at home.

Sean Dyche’s men had albeit retained Premier League status long back, they would look to end the season on a high, by forcing Arsenal to drop points after a hard-fought stalemate. This will help United climb up to fifth.
