The Belgian is another contender for the Premier League Player of the Season award and might even be on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Hazard's recent performances have certainly justified Real Madrid's interest in him. The Belgian has also climbed one place in this list at the start of April.

Hazard started the month by picking up another assist as Chelsea won 2-1 against Fulham. He then scored a fantastic injury-time equalizer in the following game, to secure a point at home against Wolves. He failed to find the back of the net in the next two games in March, a defeat at the hands of Everton and a win over Cardiff City.

However, the Belgian found his goalscoring boots at the start of April. First, he scored one and assisted another in a 3-0 win over Brighton. Last weekend, he scored both goals in a Man of the Match performance against West Ham at home.

Hazard has now scored 16 goals and registered 12 assists in the Premier League from 32 games. Interestingly, the Belgian has scored 4 goals from penalties this season!
