The Arsenal striker scored just one goal since our last assessment and the competition is so severe that he has already dropped one place in our latest rankings. However, Aubameyang is still a vital component of Unai Emery's plans at the Emirates right now and could still mount a challenge for the Golden Boot between now and the end of the season.
The Gabon International started the month on the bench against Spurs and came on in the 56th minute. However, he failed to find the back of the net as Arsenal drew the game 1-1, with him missing a late penalty. In the following game at home against Manchester United, he converted a penalty, helped Arsenal win 2-0 and improved their chances of securing Champions League football next season.
Aubameyang came off the bench against Newcastle too but failed to score again. Last weekend, he started the game against Everton but drew a blank once more. As of now, he has 17 goals from 31 appearances this season and has also registered 5 assists. Interestingly, the Gabon international has missed 19 big chances this season!

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
