The Egyptian has been steadily climbing the charts since last month and has managed to retain his position even though he failed to score in the month of March. Despite the negative hype surrounding his performances, Salah has actually been pretty decent this season. However, his form last year has raised the bar quite high and the Egyptian is feeling the pressures of expectations at Anfield now.
Salah had a pretty low key month, starting in all of Liverpool's games but failing to find the back of the net. However, when Liverpool visited Southampton last week, they needed their Egyptian hero and Salah obliged. He scored a fantastic goal as Liverpool came back from behind to win 3-1.
The Egyptian has scored 18 goals from 33 games in the Premier League and has a further 7 assists to his name to. However, he has missed 15 big chances this season already and that has hurt him so far. Salah is second among the top ten contenders for the Premier League Golden Boot at the start of April, but he isn't too far away from the top.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
