#3 Tottenham may rue cover for Kane
Harry Kane came into the team following a hectic summer for the striker, in which after his heroics for England at the World Cup, personal events took up his preparation time for the new season. Unfortunately, for Tottenham, it was clear that he's struggling without a good rest.
Despite previously struggling for form in August, having never scored in this particular month, Kane was far off the tempo of the game.
A positive for Spurs is how they managed to find goals even without their talisman on form, but if their luck was to run out, it would be the lack of signings to cover players like Kane that could harm their prospects for the season.
