I have adopted a 4-4-2 formation this week.

Goalkeeper - Joe Hart (Burnley)

Hart is back at the limelight after a sterling display against the Foxes to secure his third clean sheet of the season. and four saves

Leicester tested Hart early through Wilfred Ndidi‘s long-range strike. A diving save from Hart with his finger-tips denied Ndidi.

The Foxes should have got the lead after Hart misjudged the cross from Mark Albrighton and his poor clearance fell to Vardy inside the six-yard box. However, Matt Lowton came up with a goal-line block to deny Vardy and save the day for the Clarets in the 15th minute.

Joe Hart made a spectacular save with his out-stretched legs to deny Demarai Gray in the 27th minute from Vardy‘s through ball.

Following a fast break, Vardy set up Marc Albrighton down the right flank with a weighted pass. Albrighton‘s shot got parried away by Hart, and Kevin Long cleared the loose ball.

Hart almost caught Chris Wood in considerable space from a through ball before he got caught offside by the linesman.

Centre-Back - Juan Foyth (Tottenham Hotspur)

Juan capitalised on an opportunistic header from close range which took the Spurs to victory over the Eagles.

The 20-year-old central defender from Argentina scored his first Premier League goal in just his second appearance in the English Premier League 2018-19.

It all resulted from a corner efficiently delivered by Lamela. Harry Kane pounced on the header which took a deflection of Milivojevic. The resultant free ball got headed into the upper left corner by Foyth past a ball-watching Jordan Ayew.

Centre-Back - Souleymane Bamba (Cardiff City)

Cardiff City v Brighton & Hove Albion - Sol Bamba
Cardiff City v Brighton & Hove Albion - Sol Bamba

Bamba made amends for his initial mistake which led the Seagulls to take the initial lead following a free-kick. Bamba poorly defended the set-piece leaving an unmarked Dunk to pounce behind from the far post with a header in the sixth minute.

An acrobatic bicycle kick from Bamba off Manga’s header struck the woodwork, and the follow-up shot from Paterson deflects off Dunk and onto the crossbar. Bamba had another bite of the cherry as he drilled the loose ball with a fierce right footed shot to the roof of the net to give the Bluebirds the lead. He instantly pulled off his shirt and raced away to celebrate the goal in the 90th minute after a splendid comeback by Cardiff.

Earlier, Camarasa had a long-range shot that was half-heartedly stopped by Mat Ryan. Ryan collected the ball on the second attempt before a rapidly advancing Bamba could pounce on it.

Bamba is one of the most solid defenders in Cardiff’s lineup with 24 completed tackles and 77 clearances to his name.
