After missing out on the award by one goal last season, Sergio Aguero has rediscovered his interest in this season's Golden Boot race. With a hat-trick against Aston Villa last matchday, Sergio Aguero has made a hefty jump in the leaderboard.

In 16 appearances in the Premier League, Aguero has already scored 13 goals for Manchester City. Last Sunday, Aguero also climbed to fourth in the list of all-time top goalscorers in the Premier League with 177 goals. He's only 10 goals from third position, currently occupied by Andrew Cole.
The 2014-15 season was the last and only time Aguero won the award, scoring 26 goals. Given Kun Aguero is facing tough competition from Gabriel Jesus to claim a starting spot, it is obvious that the 31-year-old striker wouldn't get many more chances to improve his records. Still, nothing seems impossible for an extraordinary talent like Sergio Aguero.
