3) Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane has been one of the most in-form players in world football since the turn of the year and the Senegalese international has carried on from where he left off last season. In the last 12 months or so, Mane's form has eased the goalscoring burden on Mohamed Salah and the duo have combined to devastating effect to haunt the Cityzens on multiple occasions.

Aside from his goalscoring heroics, Mane has numerous other facets to his gameplay and his explosiveness in the final-third makes him an absolute menace to defend against. The former Southampton man has established himself as one of the most potent attackers in the country and his form will be crucial if Liverpool are to get a positive result on Sunday.

2) Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling has been one of the biggest beneficiaries since Pep Guardiola took charge of the Cityzens and the Englishman has become what you'd call an end-product machine. Sterling's all-round gameplay has improved leaps and bounds in the past 12 months and the 24-year-old man will look to get one over his former side.

Sterling hasn't scored a single goal against Liverpool since his £50 million move to Manchester City in the summer of 2015 and he can't ask for a better opportunity to make his mark in the fixture, as the Cityzens look to close the gap between themselves and the league leaders.

1) Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero is widely regarded as one of the biggest big-game players around and the Argentine will look to enhance his reputation further with another feather in his cap. Aguero scored when the two sides met in January at the Etihad and the veteran striker will look to score just his second goal at Anfield.

The former Atletico Madrid man has scored goals at an incredible rate since his move to England and the fact that he's lead the line for 3 different managers across 4 title-winning seasons is a testament to his incredible ability and consistency.

Aguero has lead the line superbly for the reigning Premier League champions this season and Liverpool will try everything within their powers to keep the diminutive striker at bay.
