#2 Sergio Aguero

Aguero has been Manchester City's star striker for nearly a decade now.

Once upon a time, Sergio Aguero was the undisputed king of forwards in the Premier League, and even at the age of 31 is up there with the best of them.

Although he narrowly missed out on the Golden Boot last season, across all the competitions he scored more goals than any of the three winners did.

His 32 goals across all competitions were complemented by a handsome return of 10 assists, and Aguero continues to show why he will go down as one Premier League's greatest-ever players.

To put further context as to how good Aguero has been, since 2013/14 he has averaged 30 goals a season, despite being plagued with constant injuries through this period.

He is a classic striker, and even at the age of 31 has started off well with two goals in as many games so far, and looks like he will have a bountiful season, so long as injuries don't play a part.

#1 Raheem Sterling

Sterling has started the season on fire, with five goals in just three games to his name.

As of right now, there are no forwards better than Raheem Sterling in the English Premier League. After Virgil van Dijk The 24 year old, is arguably the league's best player.

Last season, Sterling was one of Manchester City's most important players, scoring 25 goals and providing 18 assists. Furthermore, the fairly-young player looks like he is entering his true peak, and has started this season strongly with five goals to his name in just three games!

Manchester City still look like the team to beat, with VAR being their closest rivals and Raheem Sterling looks simply unstoppable.

As a goalscorer and an assist provider, he is arguably the best forward in England, and lit ooks like he is at the beginning of what could be an even more impressive season than his last.

Guardiola cannot ask for better strikers than Aguero and Sterling.
