Their new manager, Steve Bruce is by no means as good a manager as Rafael Benitez. Even their own supporters aren't behind the club due to the appointment of Steve Bruce, who had previously managed fierce rivals, Sunderland.
Joelinton is their only noteworthy signing after he was bought from Hoffenheim for a club-record fee of £40 million.
