Nemanja Matic's winner in the dying minutes of the game gave all three points to the travelling side after being down by two goals.

Andros Townsend's deflected effort in the 11th minute of the game gave an unexpected lead for the home side to which United struggled to respond. Patrick van Aanholt made it 2-0 in the 48th minute after the full-back was allowed to run through on goal without any pressure from the United defence.

The two-goal cushion lasted only for 7 minutes as Chris Smalling pulled one back for the Red Devils. Romelu Lukaku's shot managed to get past three opposition defenders to find the back of the net in the 76th minute as the game headed towards a 2-2 draw.

However, Nemanja Matic produced a sensational moment in the injury time as he scored a stunner from outside the box to deny The Eagles from gaining any point out of this fixture.
