#4 David Moyes

West Ham United v Chelsea - Premier League
David Moyes seemed to have forgotten his past troubles as he pulled West Ham out of the relegation zone

Everyone knows about Moyes' ill-fated reign as the Manchester United manager in 2013-14. Sir Alex's shoes were just way too big for poor Moyes to fill. Needless to say, his hard-earned reputation over the years as Everton manager took a hit and his career plummeted.

His next two stints as a manager weren't that noteworthy either, as the shadow of his failure at Manchester loomed large. At Real Sociedad (whom he joined in November 2014), Moyes started well and the season ended with Sociedad finishing 12th in the league. However, he didn't last long, as, after a poor start to the next season, Real Sociedad sacked him.

Similarly, at Sunderland (whom he joined in July 2016), his reign was marked with controversies on and off the pitch. His pessimistic approach to the season (which ended with Sunderland's relegation) and his sexist remark in an interview with the BBC's Vicki Sparks all but ended his Sunderland managerial career.

However, this season, he seems to have proven all his doubters wrong. After joining West Ham United as their manager on 7th November 2017, Moyes pulled the Hammers out of the relegation zone and helped them finish 13th.

He joined the London-based outfit when they were languishing in the relegation zone. Despite losing his first match as the manager of West Ham 2-0 to Watford, he steadily drove the side out of the relegation zone with some significant victories (1-0 win over Chelsea). Safe to say, Moyes has earned his reputation back.
