For the thousands of Premier League fanatics in Bengaluru, the ongoing weekend is the perfect opportunity to get together and experience the surreal experience brought to the city by Premier League LIVE.
The Fan Park has quite a few thrilling activities that the registrants can get to experience – apart from watching and spurring your favourite team, of course. Saturday saw a turnout of more than 20,000.
The Fan Park is at KTPO, Whitefield and with legends of the game in Alan Shearer, John Barnes, Gerry Taggart, Graham Stuart, Paul Dickov, Ronny Johnsen, Robert Pires and Shay Given to keep you company, it’s easily the biggest Premier League centric event that Bengaluru has had in some time.
Saturday undoubtedly had the biggest game of the weekend as Liverpool took on Manchester United and although the game ended 0-0, there were a few thrills and spills in the game. Alan Shearer’s former clubs Southampton and Newcastle United play tomorrow and you’d not want to miss out on the event.
The crowd pullers are definitely the Virtual Reality experience where you get to experience the atmosphere of walking to the pitch from the tunnel, and of course, the chance to get a click with the Premier League Trophy. Then there’s the Kick Lab – where you can test your kicking skills – and the Striker Sprint – where you can see how you rank in terms of your speed. There will be club specific zones as well where you’ll have the chance to take a photo with the aforementioned legends!
The chance to meet the legends of the game should in itself be a motivation to visit the incredible place. Entry to the event, of course, is free, but you will have to register here.
