Aubameyang currently leads the race for the Golden Boot, with 13 strikes in 19 appearances.

The Gabon international has thrived under Unai Emery at the Emirates. In spite of Alexandre Lacazette's return to form this season, Aubameyang has been the Spaniard's go-to man in attack.

He's also developed a productive partnership with Lacazette, who himself has 6 goals. In fact, the Frenchman has assisted him 3 times this season, which is the most number of assists from any one player to another in the league in 2018/19.

This has also allowed Emery to play a 4-4-2 formation at times this season, a system that could further sharpen Arsenal's attack.

Aubameyang has been remarkably prolific for the Gunners since Wenger signed him for a humongous £56 million. Even though he's already 29, he has begun to repay that fee with 25 goals in 38 appearances.

His pace, power and clinical finishing in front of goal are tailor-made for the Premier League.

Arsenal are currently 5th on the table, just 2 points outside the top 4. Although it might be too late for a title challenge, Aubameyang can lead Arsenal to a first-ever Europa League win this season.
