Eden Hazard was a thorn in Bournemouth's side on Saturday

Central midfield: Fernandinho (Manchester City)

Fernandinho's presence in midfield gave the likes of David Silva and Kevin de Bruyne the freedom to wreak havoc in the opposition penalty area. The Brazilian did a fantastic job at shielding the defence, and due to the high line played by City, he found himself in attacking positions as well. He played a role in two of his side's three goals on the day, and was undoubtedly one of the best performers of the weekend.

Central midfield: Steven Davis (Southampton)

Despite sharing the spoils with Brighton, Southampton midfielder Steven Davis has a lot to be proud of. His performance against the Seagulls gave the Saints that creativity in the middle of the park that they have lacked all season. To cap it all up, Davis found the back of the net and was his side's on goal scorer on the day.

Attacking midfield: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Given the games Leroy Sane and Eden Hazard had, it is unfair to pick just one of the two. Thus, Hazard occupies a more central position in our team compared to where he usually begins games for Chelsea.

Against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, it was due to Hazard's creativity as to why Chelsea came away with three points. The Belgian managed to find gaping holes in the Cherries defence and exploited the flaws in their defensive line. He made a total of seven key passes on the day with an accuracy close to 90 percent and also scored the all-important goal to hand his side a vital three points.
