Yeovil Town v Manchester United - The Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round
Mourinho could opt for Dortmund star

Hello and welcome to the transfer rumours for January 27, 2018. Most clubs are getting deals over the line with medicals happening here and there, while there are some clubs being linked with new players. Overall, it is a good mix.

So here are the rumours for the day…

#5 Dendoncker and Tom Cairney

Leander Dendoncker is a man that is being coveted by many. According to HLN, Dendoncker is being targeted by at least three Premier League clubs. West Ham, Stoke City and Watford are being credited with interest for the player.

Everyone at West Ham apparently likes the player, but manager David Moyes has doubts over the player. The Hammers know that the player will be sold for €25 million, but the London club want to get him for cheaper.

Meanwhile, Everton share a good relationship with RSC Anderlecht, which is why the latter offered the player to them. Also, Sky Sports understand that Tom Cairney wants to join West Ham, but Fulham aren’t willing to sell.

#4 Everton and Badou Ndiaye

Everton v West Bromwich Albion - Premier League
Allardyce could have reinforcements

The closing stages of the transfer window always leaves a space for clubs to be linked with new players. After all, some of the existing targets might not move in the end. As a result, the clubs have to look elsewhere and it seems as though Everton are one such club.

According to Bild, Kevin Vogts has been targeted by Everton as Sam Allardyce is looking add some young blood to the ageing defence.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray have released a statement, claiming that they have dropped Badou Ndiaye from their squad against Osmanlispor, with Turkish outlet Gamaspor reporting that the player wants to leave Turkey for Stoke City.

#3 Chelsea

Leganes v Real Madrid - Spanish Copa del Rey
New link to Chelsea

Finally, some new player linked to Chelsea. For the last few weeks, they have been extensively linked with a host of strikers and left-backs. Indeed, the Roma duo of Edin Dzeko and Ederson Palmieri were being linked to them (more on that later).

According to Diario Gol, Alvaro Morata is on a mission to bring Real Madrid star Marco Asensio to the club. He is apparently so confident that he believes that it is “done.”

Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio states that Chelsea are offering €50 million + €6 million incentives for the Roma duo of Ederson Palmieri and Edin Dzeko, but the Romans want more. Chelsea will decide in the next 24/48 hours whether or not they will accept Roma’s demands.

#2 Some more London

Metz v Paris Saint Germain - Ligue 1
Moura could leave France

There are basically not any new players linked with the North London outfit as for much of the window, they have been linked with a handful of selective players. They seem to have a liking for the Brazilians as most of the players linked were from the Samba land.

According to Sky Sports, Paris Saint-Germain winger, Lucas Moura, believes that a move to Tottenham Hotspur would suit him as Mauricio Pochettino could help him put his career back on track. PSG seek somewhere around £23 million for him.

Meanwhile, The Sun claim that West Ham United will look to sign Troy Deeney from Watford should their approach for Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge fails.

#1 Manchester madness

Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund - UEFA Champions League
Dortmund reportedly want to sell Bartra

Yes, we have this. We will always have this. And quite coincidentally, both of these clubs have been linked with defenders today.

According to Marca, Borussia Dortmund central defender Marc Bartra could be sold by the Germans with three clubs interested in him: Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United. The defender came to Germany from Barcelona but has seemingly fallen down in the pecking order.

Meanwhile, The Guardian believe that Aymeric Laporte is set to join Manchester City for £57 million, with the transfer being finalized next week. The defender was removed from the squad against Eibar, which indicates that a deal could be close.

Finally, Manchester Evening News think that Man City accept Shakhtar’s stand of not selling midfielder Fred this winter, but will want to confirm the deal for the summer.
