Danny Rose wants Eriksen to stay

Christian Eriksen just has another year left in his contract as it is set to expire in the summer of 2020. As a result, he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but Tottenham defender Danny Rose is hoping that he signs a new deal with the Lilywhites.

He believes that the former Ajax star is vital to their cause as a team because whenever the midfielder doesn’t play, it affects the team to such an extent that it is clearly visible that they are lacking the connecter of the dots.
"It's obviously vital [that Eriksen stays]. If you look over the five years that the manager's been here, Christian has played the most games and that says a lot,” he said.
"When Christian doesn't play, there are questions that we don't look the same. He links everything up for us.”
