Everton manager Marco Silva has completely ruled out the possibility of the club letting Tom Davies go out on loan in the winter. Davies has found it slightly difficult to get minutes, prompting rumours of him leaving on loan.
Silva, however, has revealed that it is impossible that he would be let go because he is an important player and is not only the future of Everton but also its present.
“No way. Impossible. No way,” the Everton manager said. “Tom is part of our squad. He is an important player for me and an important player for us as a club. He is the present and the future of our club.”
When asked about Tottenham Hotspur’s reported interest in Andre Gomes, Silva insisted that those stories aren’t going to effect the club in any way possible.
“Why would it affect us?" he said.
"I understand maybe some clubs are linked with him, I don't know really. But nothing changes in our way, what's in our mind."
