He also added both the parties have reached an advance stage of negotiations but the Belgian is yet to make a decision as he is still on vacation. Terreur also stated that the forward has been promised a more prominent role with Sturridge's departure from Anfield this summer.

“They [Liverpool] already offered him [Origi] a new contract before the Champions League final,” Terreur told the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast.
“There were some talks with his agent after the final.
“They were advanced negotiations but the player didn’t make his decision yet. He’s still on holiday.
“He has been promised a more advanced role now Sturridge has left.
“He’s basically the back-up for Mane, Salah and Firmino. He’s basically the first back-up for them.

United reject huge offer from Madrid

Football consultant Ian McGarry has claimed that Real Madrid made a huge bid of €100 million plus Dani Ceballos for Manchester United's Paul Pogba. The Red Devils, however, rejected the bid as they only want cash for the former Juventus star.

"I was told that Madrid did make an initial offer last Thursday, which was of €100m [£90m] plus Dani Ceballos - who has been starring for Spain’s Under-21s in their European Under-21 championship campaign,” McGarry said on The Transfer Window podcast.
“However, United turned that down flat and said that they were only interested in cash."

Arsenal are yet to make a statement in the transfer market but they might soon change that with the acquisition of young defender William Saliba. According to the Guardian, the deal to bring the youngster to the Emirates is set to happen.

The report also stated that the youngster will sign a 5-year deal with the Londoners. It is expected that the talented starlet will be loaned back to St. Etienne for a year.

Meanwhile, that is not all from Arsenal as the Gunners have also been linked with a rival midfielder in the form of Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Chelsea midfielder, who was on loan at Milan last year, is being tracked by both Arsenal and Manchester United, according to reports from France.

The report claims that the Red Devils have actually made contact with the Blues regarding a potential deal.

Mino Raiola has come to the defense of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as he has claimed that the Frenchman has done nothing wrong. Raiola stated that the former Juventus star has shown respect to his current club, who are aware of what he wants.

He also added that it’s not good for the people to criticize him without knowing the truth and that he doesn’t appreciate the club not taking notice of this and doing something about it.

“The player has done nothing wrong,” Raiola told TalkSport
. “He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. The club has known his feeling for a long time.”
“It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this... Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties.”

Alberto Moreno’s contract with Liverpool expired this summer and according to ESPN, he is set to conclude a deal that will take him to Villarreal. After 5 years at Anfield, he is set to move back to Spain with the Champions League medal with Liverpool being his best moment as a Reds star.

According to the report, Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Marseille, Aston Villa and Zenit approached him in recent months. However, he seems to have rejected them all to join the Yellow Submarines for next season.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports report that Tottenham are in talks with Real Madrid over a potential move for Dani Ceballos. The player, according to report, wants a loan move as he doesn't want to leave Real Madrid permanently.

As a result, only a short-term deal is possible right now.

Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a while now and according to reports, he has met with his agent amid reports of a move to the Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are seeking a move for the talented Sporting star but only have just a little less than a month to complete the deal. The report also claimed that the player spoke to his agent after returning to Sporting for pre-season.

Meanwhile, West Ham and Maxi Gomez have almost been synonymous for a while now. However, this deal might be on the verge of collapsing. According to a report from Sky Sports, the deal to bring the Celta striker to the club is now off.

The reason being, while West Ham did offer to pay the entirety of Gomez’s £45 million release clause, the two clubs couldn’t come to an agreement regarding the pay structure.
