Wise decision? Highly-rated defender Wilmot is reportedly set to join the Hornets

It is not often that a small club fends off big clubs’ interest on a target but it seems as though Watford have done precisely that. According to The Sun, the Hornets have agreed to a £1.5m deal which will bring Stevenage's talented youngster Ben Wilmot to the club this summer. The 18-year-old defender was also linked with lucrative moves to London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.

Meanwhile, the plea to sign Alassane Plea (I just had to do that) is at a pinnacle as three Premier League clubs are running after his signature, say CalcioMercato. The clubs mentioned are Everton, Burnley and Newcastle United.

It would be a huge bonus for Everton to have a player in the mould of PSG fullback Thomas Meunier in their side as the player himself has stated that a move to Everton could happen.

So a source told Mirror that Marcus Rashford might not be at Manchester United next season if Jose Mourinho stays on as the manager.

The source said: "Marcus was really unhappy with being left out for the derby. If Mourinho is still there next season, Marcus might not be, as he wants to start every game."
