#4 Kovac wants Callum
Callum Hudson-Odoi seems to be garnering a lot of interest from Bayern Munich as their manager Niko Kovac has openly admitted to wanting him while also assuring that he would be getting minutes straight away should he join the Bavarians.
“Hudson-Odoi? With [sports director] Hasan Salihamidzic, we have a duty to change the team and especially to rejuvenate it,” Kovac said.
“If a young player is good, his age does not matter to me. We are looking for young talents who can bring us things immediately.”
Kovac then compared the Englishman to another English sensation Jadon Sancho, who has been an instant hit at Borussia Dortmund this season, and added that sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is the one who could get the deal done as he overlooks the transfers.
“He is the same age as [Jadon] Sancho, who has been very successful.
“If and when anything happens, it will be [Salihamidzic] who does that. He is in charge of transfers.”
