Bale to stay at Madrid
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale might be forced to stay at Madrid according to Guillem Balague. According to him, the Welsh star doesn’t want to leave and Madrid know that no club would pay in excess of £100 million for him.
“I think Gareth Bale has got no intention of leaving Real Madrid, it’s different if he gets forced out,” he said.
“But right now he just wants to stay - he is not motivated by a challenge somewhere else.
“I think there’s two or three years left on his contract. Quite clearly Real Madrid feel they won’t be able to get £100m for him in this form and with his injuries.”
He then added Bale gets paid a lot of money at Madrid and knows that no other club would offer him such wages. However, Balague adds that it is not about the money for Bale.
“They would like to get that and I think Bale realises no one will pay the wages he is getting.
“But it’s not about wages I think he just wants to stay at Madrid.”
