Real Madrid’s impossible dream

Most people think that nothing is really impossible for Real Madrid. After all, this is a club that signed Luis Figo from Barcelona when he was actually an idol for the Catalans.
After that, the image of the Blancos became such that they can get anything they wish for. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore – especially with the rise of the financial capabilities of other clubs.
The Galacticos are set for a huge renovation in the summer but have been hit with a setback. Captain Sergio Ramos has asked to leave the club and the Merengues have an ‘impossible dream’ signing in an attempt to replace him.
By now, you may have guessed it: Virgil Van Dijk. It won’t be wrong to say that the Dutchman is the greatest signing the Reds have made in this decade and Madrid now want him but Liverpool won’t let him go no matter what.
‘Want’, after all, doesn’t ‘get’.
