#4 Rafa Benitez on January signings
Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has stated that the club are analyzing potential signings for January. The Magpies are only a point above the relegation zone and need reinforcements in the winter.
According to manager Rafa Benitez, the club will have to look out of the Premier League for loan signings since the Toons already have two loan players from other English clubs in their team.
"The first thing is to find the right players because you cannot bring players from the Premier League on loan as we have two players already.
"So we have to see abroad and see where we can maybe buy players from. Instead of doing that, you have to look for the players that you want - and then analyse who we can, or cannot, sign.”
He then added that while the January window is still quite far ahead, they are looking at some names.
"At the moment it is too early, but we are working on names and players.”
