Paris Saint-Germain v Manchester United - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg
The English youngster was the only first-choice attacking player in the team on the night and as such, Rashford had a lot of expectations on his shoulders. However, he had a thankless job and suffered from the lack of creative midfielders in the team.

But the sign of great players is that even when the odds are against them, they rise to provide that moment of inspiration that binds the team and lifts them up. United’s young striker did just that against PSG at Paris.
He was full of running and pressing in the final third, but it was his belief in himself that brought United back into the game. PSG had levelled through Bernat and the away team were lacking inspiration.

United ventured forward in search of a breakthrough, and on one such occasion, Rashford found himself on the ball at least 30 yards away from the goal. Any other player would have passed the ball, but the youngster backed himself and took a thunderous shot on goal. The ball dipped, causing Buffon to spill it and Lukaku was there to tuck in the rebound.
His greatest moment came in the dying moments of the game. He stepped up to take the penalty kick with the weight of the whole world on him. There was a self-belief about him that refused to be defeated. Buffon dived to the right as Rashford put the ball into the net and sent United through.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
