Paris Saint-Germain’s social media team was at it again yesterday ahead of the big Champions League game against Chelsea. But this time, they had some help from all their fans and many other Twitter users.
It all started when they posted an image with Javier Pastore photoshopped onto a movie poster for Django Unchained. The Argentine midfielder is nicknamed El Flaco and the wordplay saw him appear on the poster instead of Jamie Foxx. They had tweeted with the hashtag #RendUnFilmPSGfriendly (meaning ‘make a film PSG friendly’) so other users could contribute with their own images.
And Twitter did not disappoint! Here are a select few that went viral on social media as a result of several fans using PSG players and coach Laurent Blanc in numerous movie posters. They also took a dig at their Champions League opponents ahead of the second leg.
