PSG planning to pay €125 million for Cristiano?

In the middle of numerous transfer stories, Spanish paper Marca have been reporting that France based Paris Saint-Germain is considering an offer of €125 million for Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The amount would be exceeding the €96 million that Madrid had to pay to bring Cristiano to the Bernabéu in 2009, thus making it a new world record.

A French radio station RMC reports they have seen a text from Cristiano regarding the player’s preference to play in Paris.

The speculations started ever since he admitted to being “unhappy” in Madrid.

PSG Manager Carlo Ancelotti hopes that Cristiano will be tempted by the idea of moving to Paris after suggesting that he is unhappy with his current situation at Madrid.

PSG are one of the few clubs who are capable of securing the services of the Portugal International, and have already spent almost around £85 million on players like Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Cristiano has two seasons left on his contract with Real Madrid, which includes a €1 billion buyout clause.
