QPR loanee Benoit Assou-Ekotto has shot down claims that accuse him of playing GTA V all night ahead of the game against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Metro reports.
The 29-year-old was loaned to QPR by Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The player came under fire for confessing on social networking site Twitter that he was up all night playing GTA V, fans saw this as a lack of respect for QPR who we’re set to face Brighton the next day.
‘Im wake up since 1h! Thanks GTA 5! Hv a good day mate lol,’ he tweeted.
The Cameroon International stated in a tweet later that he was up since 1 hour and not 1 am.
